This being a digital era it’s almost possible to make money online. As a student having a chance to make a few extra dollars is an added advantage. So how can you be able to do that? PASSIVE INCOME! 

So what’s PASSIVE INCOME? 
Passive income is where, at first you put in effort on a project and later this project brings you money day in and day out even if you’re not actively involved in it. 
Here are some ways you can make passive income:
Start a blog 
Out of the many ways, blogging is my favorite source of passive income.
This might sound really funny, but the first thing I do in the morning is check how much money I made while I was sleeping. 
This blog post you’re reading now will bring in money for years to come, and I don’t even have to do anything apart from promoting it.
Another good thing about blogging is you have full control over it and you decide every single move. In short, you are your own BOSS!
However, this doesn’t mean blogging is a piece of cake. It takes A LOT of patience and you need to continuously put in work.
There will be times when you would feel you’re on a road to nowhere, but then you gotta keep pushing to see those numbers pile up.

So how can you make money blogging? 
You can money by placing ads, links to affiliate products or even selling your own products. The amount of money you make depends on the number of visitors (traffic) to your site. 
Affiliate marketing 
Affiliate marketing never gets old as it is still one of the best ways to make money online 
All you need to do is apply for an affiliate program, grab an affiliate link and promote it. If someone buys that product through your affiliate link, you get some commission.
As a blogger, it becomes easier to promote these affiliate links because you have a blog where you can write contents to promote them.
But if you don’t have a blog, then social media sites can be a good option only if you have engaging followers.
My advice will be to first select a niche whose product you will promote on these sites.
For example, if you know a lot about fashion-related products, then choose the fashion niche

These apps are a good beginners passive income stream. There’s an increase in trend to shopping online and to get more out of online shopping, cashback apps work the best.

This method is definitely good for those people who have a good fan following on social media.
If you have thousands of followers on Instagram or Facebook, why don’t you promote those products you think your follower will like it?
N/B: You don’t need more than 10000 followers to be an influencer. Some companies look for nano/micro influencers to work with. 
But before promoting anything, you need to contact that product brand and give them an offer to get paid for promoting their products.
If they agree, you can then get paid for every promotional post you share with your followers.
Now, while contacting brands, most of the time you won’t hear from them but there is a good chance you will get your first paid promotion.
So keep your hope high and work on it
Start a YouTube channel 
You can make money on YouTube the same way as you would with a blog- with ads and affiliate products. You can also get sponsorship from companies to promote their products. 

 It takes time to build a huge following but once you do the money starts flowing in.
