Hey beautiful people, welcome back to my blog. Today we are going to be making a DIY deep conditioner that is super moisturizing.

Before I proceed, let me quickly introduce myself for those who are new on my blog: My name is Naliaka Brenda, I am a natural hair enthusiast and I love experimenting with my hair and sharing DIY hair recipes with my readers that you can easily make at home.

What you need;

  • ½ Avocado
  • 2 tbsp. fenugreek powder
  • 4 Aloe Vera leaves
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • Eucalyptus essential oil

Method:

  • Extract the gel from the Aloe Vera leaves and place it in a bowl.
  • Add the Aloe Vera gel in a blender and add the fenugreek powder and blend it.
  • Strain the Aloe Vera and fenugreek mixture and set aside.
  • Add the avocado in the blender and blend it with the aloe Vera and fenugreek mixture.
  • Add olive oil and blend it everything together.
  • Finally add your essential oil.

Your DIY deep conditioner is ready for use.

Fenugreek & Aloe Vera mixture

I didn’t follow the steps above because I had made the Aloe Vera and fenugreek powder mixture before but I had to write a procedure for y’all.

What I did;

  • I spritz my hair with water and applied the mixture.
  • I let it sit for 30 mins then rinsed it out.
  • I went ahead to style my hair as usual and that’s it.

Benefits of Fenugreek

  • Fights dandruff.
  • Promotes hair growth.
  • Prevents premature hair greying.
  • Reduces hair fall.
  • Increases hair shine.
