The Suncreen had me looking like a ghost

We all know SUN PROTECTION is important in our skincare routines and most black people rarely wear sunscreen (I was also part of that group lol) even though they should. The sun can do dangerous things to our skin and that is why we need to protect our skin from the sun as much as possible. Although melanin does give darker skin tones some sun protection, it is not enough to prevent skin cancer.

After a bad experience with the sunscreen I bought which left me looking like a ghost, I decided to ask my Instagram followers on sunscreen recommendations and these are some of the sunscreens that they recommended that do not leave a white cast on dark-skinned people.

The culprit that left me with a ghostly face

Here are the suggestions:

1. Bio balance sun protection facial cream

2. Neutrogena spf 70

3. Neutrogena sensitive skin spf 60+

4. Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen

5. La Roche-Posay anthelios XL

6. La Roche Posay anti-shine anthelios XL

7. Nivea Sun Protect and Moisture Moisturizing Lotion

8. Neutrogena hydro boost

9. Біокон SPF 70

10. Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Sunscreen

11. Centella green level unscented sunscreen

Those are some of the sunscreens my Instagram followers suggested and I know there are many more sunscreens out there that are dark skinned friendly and I would like to hear more recommendations in the comments section.

Thank you for reading. Until next time my loves, kisses.
